Hello All,
Would like to get a idea on what some of the community thinks on Datafeeds & APIs ..
Would it be better to use the API's from the networks to pull products on the fly ala always uptodate?
Or is it best to download the datafeed and use some script to display products?
I'm kinda at the tipping point .. and not sure what to use / do ... right now im using alot of goldencan because its really EZ to use...

Hi Everybody,
I'm new here, and relatively new to the whole affiliate thing.
I used to run a 'real' online store.
But we ran out of capital (too little margin) and changed the store site into an information site in an attempt to help pay off our debts.
Given the retail landscape, I wonder how many other retailers will close shop in the next few weeks, any guesses?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to helping where I can, and learning a lot.

Received a CSV data feed directly from a company. The CSV data parsing appears to be a considerable programming effort.
1). Are there CSV to html parsing tools available? I see tools which move the CSV to a basic html table, CSV to a database table - which can be exported to html, but this is far from enough functionality.
2). I see that Commission Junction offers Data Feeds. Are the Data Feeds from Commission Junction packaged in a form which would be easily moved into HTML?

Hey there every-one. Found this forum and thought why not....... I am totally bored with drudging through traffic and not being with my kids. I beleave it can be done but do I need help or what.
I understand the principle of affiliation (Its like a cybersalesman) but I se forums like this as a way of finding out how you actually do it.

I have a php page that has a form on it for the user to fill in. Upon submit of that form, I would like to insert the data from the form into my database table called tableA, and then refresh a div tag on the same page with updated data from tableA.
And I would like to do all of this without refreshing the entire php page. I assume this has something to do with ajax.

I just started a new web site which will be advertised on National TV and i have heard about affiliate networking and marketing but am not sure how to implement that into my business model!
